Using Vaultever

Vaultever is for organizing photos, videos and files in local vaults on compatible Apple devices. Use it lawfully. Do not use it to store, distribute or access content that you do not have the right to handle.

You are responsible for your device, your vault patterns, your recovery phrases, your backups and the files you import or export.

Access and recovery

Vaultever is designed so that access is controlled by your vault pattern and, where available, your saved recovery phrase or encrypted backup. We cannot bypass the cryptographic boundary or reset access to a vault when the required credentials are unavailable.

Keep recovery material private and separate from the encrypted backup it unlocks. Do not send it to support or enter it into an untrusted website.

Important product limits

  • Importing creates a copy; it does not delete originals from Photos or Files.
  • An individual export is a readable copy outside the vault.
  • Encrypted backups are only as useful as the backup file and recovery phrase kept by you.
  • Local encryption and app privacy controls do not protect copies you share, export or leave outside the app.
  • No independent security audit has been completed.

Availability and changes

The website and app may change, be temporarily unavailable or remain unreleased while development and review continue. We will update product and legal pages when the supported scope changes.

Nothing on this site promises a particular release date, device compatibility beyond the published App Store listing, data-recovery outcome or security certification.
